Rob Pribish

Robert Pribish is primarily a civil litigator whose practice has spanned complex class actions, business disputes, construction and construction defect disputes, insurance disputes, and intellectual property disputes. He has litigated a variety of cases including claims for unfair competition, false advertising, professional negligence, insurance contribution, defective products, breach of contract, design patent infringement, misrepresentation, and fraud.

In addition to his litigation work, Robert also aids clients in transactions regarding real property and construction related contracts.

Additional Career Highlights

  • Part of the lead counsel team on a breach of warranty and construction defect case, for which the team obtained a favorable settlement for their clients in excess of $12 million (Vue Homeowners' Association v. Starline Windows, Inc., et al. (Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. BC710731)).
  • Part of the lead or co-lead counsel teams that obtained favorable settlements in consumer class actions involving insurance products, windows, and washing machines:
  • Streit, et al. v. Farmer's Group, Inc., et al. (Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. BC434852) $20 million settlement on behalf of thousands of California insurance consumers. 
  • Tait, et al. v. BSH Home Appliances Corporation, (C.D. Cal. Case No. 10-00711) Settlement valued at $35 million.
  • Klotzer, et al. v. International Windows, (Solano County Superior Court Case No. FCS021196) Injunctive and monetary relief benefit of $32 million for alleged product defects on behalf of owners of certain windows.
  • Deist, et. al. v. Viking Industries, (San Joaquin Superior Court, Case No. CV 025771) Injunctive and monetary relief benefit of $18 million for alleged product defects on behalf of owners of certain windows.

Personal

Robert graduated from Fairfield University of Fairfield, CT, with a B.S. in Biology, and from the University of San Diego School of Law (J.D.) where he was a Law Review Member. He is based in San Diego, where he also resides, and has practiced law for more than 17 years.
